Are you behind on credits?

Do you want to help your community and earn academic credits at the same time?

If, so the school district can help. Just download the community service contract below and take it to your guidance counselor or community service coordinator at your school. Choose from dozens of available opportunities to volunteer through Manateens, or find a worthy endeavor on your own. Once your service project is approved, you can begin making a difference in the lives of others, bring satisfaction to your own life, and start earning credits towards graduation at the same time. Once you log 75 hours of service (which is a lot less time it takes in a classroom), you may earn a half credit in the elective course of Volunteer Public Service. An additional 75 hours is also available for a half credit in the social studies elective of Civics.
