Crossroads is a prevention program designed by the Manatee County's Office of Safe Schools and local law enforcement. The program is built upon evidenced-based strategies and is delivered in the 5th and 7th grades by our School Resource Officers. Crossroads contains 7 units of instruction on both grade levels to include topics such as Juvenile Law, Character, Decision-Making, Bullying,Tolerance, Peer Pressure, Drug Awareness, and Violence Prevention. The curriculum was completely redesigned with new lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and a new look beginning in the 2006-2007 school year.
