Provides oversight responsibility for managing, supervising and monitoring the daily operation of schools; development and performance appraisal of school principals; facilities coordination and delivery ofservices to assist students of all ages with career planning and preparation.

Provides academic support services for rigorous and relevant teaching and learning through resources for curriculum, instruction and assessment for learning, professional development, and targeted support for Title I schools, English Language Learners, and struggling learners.

Provides a focus on the continuous improvement of students' academic success through school improvement processes, analysis of and access to student performance data; profices guidance and technical assistance to departments and schools in the effective use of data; collaboratively develops and monitors accountability measures to increase rigor, relevance, and academic achievement.
