to all stakeholders of the Manatee District Schools”.

The mission of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, timely and efficient home-to-school transportation for over 15,000 students to 52 District school centers and four charter schools. To accomplish this, our 165 school buses travel over 16,500 miles per day. In addition, we perform over 2,600 extracurricular field trips per year for our schools as well as 21 non-profit outside groups. To ensure that the safety and security of our students remains our #1 priority, every school bus operator, attendant and aide receives safety training that meets or exceeds state and federal requirements.
