The Employee Fitness Center has been made possible through a generous donation from BlueCross BlueShield of Florida.The fitness center has a variety of LifeFitness strength training and cardiovascular equipment as well as free weight (dumbbells and fitness bands). This center also offers a variety of amenities such as lockers, showers, restrooms, and a Wellness Kiosk consisting of a blood pressure machine, weight scale, and an Exercise Management Tracking program.
All School District employees, spouses, and long-term substitutes are eligible to become members of this fitness center. There is an annual membership fee of $45.00. This fee is for the membership period of September 1 through August 31.
New members receive a complimentary 30-minute Equipment Orientation when they join to better familiarize themselves with the machines. Appointments are coordinated by Diana Sitar, Wellness Specialist at 708-8770, ext. 2244.
Hours of Operation
5am-8pm (Monday - Friday)
8am-8pm (Saturday and Sunday)
If you workout prior to 7am or after 5pm, or on the weekend, you cannot work out alone. There needs to be another member in the gym with you. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of membership privileges.
