Harllee Middle Holds Pink Out
for Breast Cancer Awareness

(Bradenton, FL. - October 29, 2012) Harllee Middle School celebrated its Inaugural Pink-Out on Friday October, 19, 2012. This was a fund-raiser to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Harllee students were given the opportunity to dress out of uniform and to wear pink to support the cause. The school also had staff members face painting, pink ribbons and tie-dying pink clothes for students to wear. The students were asked to donate $2 to wear pink instead of their uniform.

Harllee students and staff raised a little over $650 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
