PARENT INFORMATION PHONE LINE (Bradenton, FL - July 22, 2008) A special Parent Information Phone Line will be available beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008 for parents of Manatee District students who have back-to-school questions. The phone number is (941) 708-4971. The purpose of the Parent Information Phone Line is to give parents one central, easily defined avenue to answer questions regarding registration, school zones, bus stop locations and times, home education and other questions that often arise at the beginning of a new school year. If certain questions cannot be immediately answered, callers will be guided to school district staff or contacts who can answer their specific question. The Parent Information Phone Line will be operational from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Monday, August 4, 2008 until Friday, August 22, 2008. Manatee District students are scheduled to begin the 2008-2009 school year on Monday, August 18, 2008. |
