Superintendent Search

Description

The School Board of Manatee County met in Special Sessions on October 15, 2008, October 16, 2008, October 17, 2008, and October 23, 2008, for the purpose of interviewing candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools for the Manatee County School District. 

 

On October 23, 2008, the Board voted to recommend three candidates for further consideration for Superintendent.  The three finalists are Dr. Nicholas Gledich, Dr. Brenda Magee, and Mr. Tim McGonegal.

 

The School Board may make a decision to narrow the list of finalists, or to select a Superintendent candidate in order to begin negotiations.
