Title
International Day of Peace

Description

In 1981, The United Nations established the International Day of Peace.  It has been celebrated on September 21st since 1982.  On this day children in 39 countries will highlight the importance of peace.

 

Students from Wakeland Elementary School of International Studies will share poems, artwork, and songs celebrating the International Day of Peace.  Chuck Fradley, Principal, Tina Stancil, Assistant Principal, and Ashlie Fulmer, Teacher, will attend with three - four students.
