Description

Abel and Rowlett Elementary Schools request a waiver of the language in Appendix B as it regards team leader stipends in the Master Contract between the School Board of Manatee County and the Manatee Education Association (MEA) which requires schools to pay team leaders a sum certain. Each Elementary School had a secret ballot and teachers have voted to share allocated team leader stipends with additional team leaders to meet the schools’ leadership needs.  The MEA Executive Board has approved the waivers of each of the aforementioned elementary schools.
