On October 13, 2008, the Board approved the bid on fencing materials and supplies. The contract is subject to renewal under the same terms and conditions as the original proposal at the option and agreement of all parties for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.  Four vendors have agreed to renew their bids for the period of October 14, 2009 through October 13, 2010; with a 10 percent reduction in price. USA Fence Company chose not to renew.  The contract has been reviewed and found to be satisfactory under the original bid terms and conditions.

The bid/proposal is recommended for renewal to Arc Tech Construction By Design, Fort Myers, FL, Florida Document No. M66229; Arrow Fencing Systems, Bradenton, FL, Florida Document No. P94000043562; Florida Fencing, Bradenton, FL, Florida Document No. P02000055519; and Stewart Tennis Courts & Fencing, Bradenton, FL, Florida Document No. P04000119019.

The Superintendent recommends approval of renewal (1) of the bid on fencing material and supplies, as required, for the period of October 14, 2009 through October 13, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00.
