Executive Summary

The purpose of the requested action is to approve Change Orders 1 and 2 to the Agreement between Owner and W. G. Mills, Inc., which will decrease the Guaranteed Maximum Price for materials that were purchased under the Direct Materials Purchase Program in order to save sales tax.

The Superintendent recommends approval of Palmetto High School - Additions and Renovations - Change Orders 1 and 2 - Agreement between Owner and W. G. Mills, Inc.

Financial Impact

The amount of Change Order 1 is ($2,689,767.25), and the amount of Change Order 2 is ($161,936.02).  The revised Guaranteed Maximum Price for Palmetto High School - Additions and Renovations is now $12,933,996.73, and is included in the total project budget of $18,900,000.00.  This capital project is funded by Impact Fees and Certificate of Participation (COP) funds.
