The purpose of the requested action is to approve Amendment 8 to the Agreement between Owner and HCBeck, Ltd., which will provide for construction management at risk services for a new Manatee Technical Institute (MTI) SR 70 Campus.

Financial Impact
The amount of Amendment 8 is $35,367,872.00, and is included in the total project budget requirement associated with the SR 70 Campus, which is $44,337,345.00. A Furniture, Fixed Assets, and Equipment (FF&E) and Technology allocation in the amount of $2,500,000.00, is included in this total project budget requirement. This project is funded by Certificate of Participation funds. A portion of this project is funded by a Public Education Capital Outlay grant.
