Executive Summary
Under the Articles of Incorporation for the Manatee School Board Leasing Corporation, the members of the not-for-profit corporation are the members of the School Board. The Articles of Incorporation provide that the Board of Directors, unless changed by the membership, are the members of the School Board. The Articles also provide that the Chair of the School Board will be the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, and the Vice-Chair of the School Board will be the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Corporation. The officers are the President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer. It provides that the Chair of the School Board is the President, the Vice-Chair is the Vice-President, and the Secretary/Treasurer is the Secretary of the School Board, which is the Superintendent.
