Approval of Matzke Complex Modernization - Amendment 6 - Agreement Between Owner and Fawley Bryant Architects, Inc. - p.38

Executive Summary

The purpose of the requested action is to approve Amendment 6 to the Agreement between Owner and Fawley Bryant Architects, Inc., for additional services for the addition of a stand alone rest room building, to be located in the vicinity of the new, proposed fuel island. Compensation for the design additions are detailed in the proposal letter from Fawley Bryant Architects, Inc. to the Department of Construction Services, dated January 20, 2010. The aforementioned documents are attached for delineation of scope and services only.

 

This project does not require a Department of Education spot survey.

 

Matzke Complex Modernization Summary Sheet is attached for your reference.

 

The goal of the Department of Construction Services continues to be to provide quality environments for safe and effective student learning.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval of Matzke Complex Modernization - Amendment 6 - Agreement between Owner and Fawley Bryant Architects, Inc.

Financial Impact

The amount of Amendment 6 is $17,060.00.  The newly adjusted Architect/Engineer fee for the Matzke Complex Modernization is $1,517,480.00.   This fee is included in the total project budget of $22,300,000.00. This project is funded by Certificate of Participation funds.
