Approval of the Culinary Arts Tech Prep Articulation Agreement Between Johnson & Wales University and Manatee Technical Institute, which will Expire August, 2012 - p.39

Executive Summary

The Culinary Vocational Program at Manatee Technical Institute is submitting for approval the continuation of the Culinary Arts Tech Prep Articulation Agreement with  Johnson & Wales University.  This agreement is a renewal from prior years, and will expire August, 2012.

 

The substantive change in the agreement from the prior year is:

 

Commercial Foods and Culinary Arts Program consists of 1200 hours per the Department of Education Curriculum Frameworks for the 2010-2011 year.

 

Students who qualify under the conditions of the Agreement receive transfer credits toward a Culinary Arts Associates degree.

 

The original articulation agreement is attached for your review.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval of the Culinary Arts Tech Prep Articulation Agreement between Johnson & Wales University and Manatee Technical Institute, which will expire August, 2012.

Motion and approval of the Culinary Arts Tech Prep Articulation Agreement between Johnson & Wales University and Manatee Technical Institute, which will expire August, 2012.
