Approval of Manatee Technical Institute - Public Service Center - Law Academy - Change Orders 3 and 4 (Law) - Agreement between Owner and HCBeck, Ltd.

Description

The purpose of the requested action is to reduce the Guaranteed Maximum Price for the Law Academy portion of the project by the amount of Change Order 3 and Change Order 4 for materials purchased under the Direct Materials Purchase program in order to save sales tax.

 

Manatee Technical Institute Summary Sheet is attached for your reference.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval of Manatee Technical Institute - Public Service Center - Law Academy - Change Orders 3 and 4 (Law) - Agreement between Owner and HCBeck, Ltd.



Recommendation

Motion and approval of Manatee Technical Institute - Public Service Center - Law Academy - Change Orders 3 and 4 (Law) - Agreement between Owner and HCBeck, Ltd.



Financial Impact

The amount of Change Order 3 (Law) is ($87,540.62) and the amount of Change Order 2 (Law) is ($5,327.44).  The revised Guaranteed Maximum Price for the Law Academy is now $9,320,896.12.  The total project budget associated with the Law Academy portion of the project is acknowledged as $12,000,000.00.

 

The Guaranteed Maximum Price for Manatee Technical Institute, including Change Order 3 (Law) and Change Order 4 (Law), is now $12,806,440.49 and is included in the total project budget of $65,407,345.00.
