On June 27, 2005 and August 28, 2006,  the Board approved the invitation for bid on plastering services.  Approval is being requested for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.  The contract is subject to renewal and renegotiate pricing under the same terms and conditions as the original proposal at the option and agreement of all parties for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Siesta Key Décor and Waterproofing has agreed to renew their proposals with original pricing and Apollo Construction and Engineering has renegotiated their prices.  The contract has been reviewed and found to be satisfactory under the original bid terms and conditions.

The invitation for bid is recommended for renewal to Apollo Construction and Engineering, Florida Document No. J77923 and Siesta Key Décor and Waterproofing, Florida Document No. P02000072193.

The Superintendent recommends approval of renewal (2) of the Invitation for Bid on Plastering Services, as required, for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008, in an amount not to exceed $750,000.00.
