Approval of the Use of Lake County Bid on Fire Equipment and Supplies, MCSD No. 07-0117-MR

Description

Rescue equipment and supplies are needed at the Manatee Technical Institute Fire Academy for the training of fire fighters.

 

State Board Rule 6A-1.012(5) allows school boards to purchase from existing bids of other public entities upon agreement by the awarded vendor(s).

 

Lake County awarded their bid to Ten-8 Fire Equipment Inc., Florida Document No. J73707.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval of the Use of the Lake County bid for Fire Equipment and Supplies, as required, for the period of June 26, 2007 through March 31, 2008, in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00.



Recommendation

Motion and approval of the use of Lake County bid on Fire Equipment and Supplies, as required, for the period of June 26, 2007 through March 31, 2008, in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00.

 



Financial Impact

The estimated expenditure for these purchases/services is $75,000.00.  The requested expenditures will be charged to the following account: 42003053894.4641.7470
