This bid is for the rental of Ricoh copiers.  Our district has opted to utilize this bid for equipment currently in place within the District, as well as new placements.  The vendor has agreed to provide the rental of Ricoh copiers to the Manatee County School District under the same terms and conditions as Hillsborough County No. 4091-HM. The Hillsborough County School Board has renewed this bid through June 5, 2008.  A copy of the specifications and pricing are on file in our Purchasing Office.

State Board Rule 6A-1.012(5) allows school boards to purchase from existing bids of other public entities upon agreement by the vendor(s).

The recommended supplier is Ricoh Business Systems, Florida Registration No. P13835.

The Superintendent recommends the approval of Renewal (2) for Use of Hillsborough County Public Schools Bid for the Rental of Ricoh Copiers, as required, through June 5, 2008, in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00.

The estimated expenditure for these rentals is $150,000.00.  The requested expenditures will be charged to various General Operating Funds, Various Business Units; General Administration or School Administration Functions and Rentals.
