Approval to Accept and Expend the Increase in Allocation and Roll Forward to the Title III, Part A: Supplementary Instructional Support for English Language Learners Grant for Fiscal Year 2009 - 2010 - p.47
Executive Summary
On May 29, 2010, the Title III Part A, Office received notification from the Florida Department of Education of the increase in allocation and roll forward for the Title III, Part A: Supplementary Instructional Support for English Language Learners grant in the amount of $46,904.68, for a total Title III grant allocation of $592,082.68.
These Title III Part A grant funds will be used to purchase supplemental supplies and materials that will provide additional support to English language learners as they work to achieve proficiency in English and make progress toward meeting grade level objectives.
These additional funds will ensure that we are maintaining comprehensive, system-wide curriculum and methodologies to ensure student achievement
The Superintendent recommends approval to accept and expend the increase in allocation and roll forward to the Title III, Part A: Supplementary Instructional Support for English Language Learners Grant for fiscal year 2009 – 2010.

Financial Impact
The district will receive $46,904.68 roll forward funds from the Title III Part A: Supplementary Instructional Support for English Language Learners grant funds. There will be no matching requirements.
