2009 Student Leadership Team - p.25
Executive Summary
Tafara Callaway, Braden River High School teacher, and Trish Litton, Secondary Vocational Specialist, had an opportunity through their participation in the Aspiring Leaders program this year to work closely with thirty-three students serving on the EdVantage Student Leadership Team. Tafara and Trish had the pleasure to mentor those students into the leaders they have become today. The team has met monthly during this past year in successfully accomplishing three goals. Their three goals were:
1. To develop a District Wide Student Leadership club, SLIC (Student Leaders in Charge);
2. To develop a Superintendent's Cabinet; and
3. To facilitate a workshop inviting others from across the district to attend.
Please join the Board as we recognize these students, Tafara Callaway, and Trish Litton for their outstanding efforts this year. Each student will be given a certificate.
Ms. Callaway and Ms. Litton will introduce these students.
