Approval of Renewal (1) on Heavy Duty Construction Equipment Rental, MCSD No. 08-0073-MR - p.36
On May 12, 2008, the Board approved the bid on heavy duty construction equipment rental. The contract is subject to renewal under the same terms and conditions as the original proposal at the option and agreement of all parties for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Three (3) vendors have agreed to renew their bids, and one vendor no longer performs site development but did renew dump truck services at a discount rate through May 12, 2010. The contract has been reviewed and found to be satisfactory under the original bid terms and conditions.
The bid is recommended for renewal to CE Huffman, Florida Document No. 551037, Bradenton, FL, Gainey Land Development, Florida Document No. J37037, Bradenton, FL, Key Landscape Management, Florida Document No. P06000044670, Sarasota, FL, and Woodruff and Sons, Florida Document No. 829644, Bradenton, FL.
The Superintendent recommends approval of renewal (1) on heavy duty construction equipment rental, as required, through May 12, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00.

The estimated expenditure for these purchases/services not to exceed $150,000.00. The funds for these expenditures will be charged to local capital improvement millage.
