Executive Summary
Gradebook 2 is a district-wide grade book software system that is used by teachers to record attendance and grades. The software includes Attendance Manager for the attendance personnel at the schools, Internet Viewer for parent/guardian access to the student’s information, Student Viewer for the student’s use, Principal Viewer for use by the Principals, the Web Gradebook Assistant that enables the grade book to be used over the Intranet and Internet, and the Standards Based Assessment System for Objectives Based Elementary report cards.
The Superintendent recommends approval to purchase software maintenance and support renewal for Excelsior Pinnacle Gradebook 2.

Financial Impact
