Effective F.S. 69I-73.001 Definitions (5) "Data Processing Software" has the meaning set forth in Section 119.011(6), F.S. Data Processing software is not considered to be property within the meaning of these rules. F.S. 119 (6) "Data processing software" means the programs and routines used to employ and control the capabilities of data processing hardware, including, but not limited to, operating systems, compilers, assemblers, utilities, library routines, maintenance routines, applications, and computer networking programs.
The District will continue to record and inventory software with an acquisition cost over $50,000.00. All software that is fully depreciated will be purged from the accounting records.
