Approval of the Research Agreement No. 0607-009 from the University of North Florida
Manatee County Schools has received a technology grant (EETT) from the Florida Department of Education under CDFA# 84.318 and the University of North Florida (UNF) is to perform an evaluation of the grant activities. UNF will be evaluating the grant impact on the classrooms that participate in the program and Sugg and Louise Johnson Middle schools. The period of performance under this agreement is May 15, 2006 through June 30, 2007. The Department of Education mandated the UNF component in all of the EETT grants this year.
The Florida Department of Education approved the grant and awarded the funds in the amount of $1,012,722.96 to the distract for part 2 of the EETT program. The funds will be used to support activities approved in Title II, Part D (2) - Enhancing Education Through Technology Grant for the 2006-07 school year.

UNF will be paid $12,000.00 for the project period using monies from the EETT grant. $3,000.00 will be paid upon execution of the agreement and quarterly thereafter.

Any person who desires to appeal any decision made by the School Board with respect to any matter considered at the above-mentioned meeting will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which an appeal may be based. School Board meetings are held in accessible locations. Auxiliary aids will be provided, upon written request received at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, to participants with disabilities.
