Approval to Apply for and Expend the Public Charter School Planning, Design, and Implementation Grant Program (2007-2010) Implementation (2007-2009) for Oasis Middle School

Description

The Public Charter School Planning, Design, and Implementation Grant Program provides funds that will help startup charter schools to provide a high quality education for Florida’s students.  The funds are available to charters that are scheduled to open for the 2007-2008 school year or charter schools that have been operating for less than one year and have not previously received a project award under the Public Charter School Grant Program.  The charter must serve students in grades K-12 and must have a minimum actual enrollment of 20 students during the first year of operation.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval to apply for and expend the Public Charter School Planning, Design, and Implementation Grant Program (2007-2010) Implementation (2007-2009) for Oasis Middle School.

Motion and approval to apply for and expend the Public Charter School Planning, Design, and Implementation Grant Program (2007-2010) Implementation (2007-2009) for Oasis Middle School.



Financial Impact

Total funds requested are $83,000.00.
