Approval of Renewal (1) on Fluorescent Lamps, MCSD No. 10-0024-MR

Executive Summary

On October 26, 2009, the Board approved the bid on fluorescent lamps. The contract is subject to renewal under the same terms and conditions as the original proposal at the option and agreement of all parties for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.  All vendors have agreed to renew their bid through October 12, 2011.  The contract has been reviewed and found to be satisfactory under the original bid terms and conditions.

             

The bid is recommended for renewal to Frontier Lighting, Clearwater, FL, Florida Document No. J57338, store location in Bradenton.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval of renewal (1) on fluorescent lamps, as required, through October 12, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $125,000.00.

Motion and approval of renewal (1) on fluorescent lamps, as required, through October 12, 2011, in an amount not to exceed $125,000.00.



Financial Impact

The estimated cost to implement this agenda item will not exceed $125,000.00.  The funding source for this annually estimated expenditure is Local Capital Improvement and various General Operating Funds and is included in the sites approved budget.
