Approval of Blackburn Elementary School - 10 Classroom Addition - Amendment 2 - Agreement Between Owner and Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. (Revised)

Description

The purpose of the requested action is to amend the Agreement between Owner and Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc.  This amendment authorizes the additional services required for the design of a 10 Classroom Addition at Blackburn Elementary School.

 

The additional services pertains to the completion of the 10 classroom building’s HVAC, electrical and security systems and are required to complete the construction documents for permitting and bidding.

 

Blackburn Elementary School - 10 Classroom Addition Summary Sheet is attached for your reference.

 

The Superintendent recommends approval of Blackburn Elementary School - 10 Classroom Addition - Amendment 2 - Agreement between Owner and Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc.



Recommendation

Motion and approval of Blackburn Elementary School - 10 Classroom Addition - Amendment 2 - Agreement between Owner and Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc.



Financial Impact

The amount of Amendment 2 is $58,500.00.  The total fee for Architectural/Engineering Services, including this Amendment 2, is now $556,915.00.  This fee is included in the total project budget of $8,027,530.39.
