The College Center at Bayshore High School

We offer the greatest opportunity to earn the most college credit for free in Manatee County. Through our special dual en¬rollment agreement with State College of Florida (SCF), students can earn college credits and potentially complete an A.A. degree by the time they graduate. During freshman and sophomore years, students take Pre-College Honors classes in preparation for the College Center. A student is required to maintain an unweighted Grade Point Average of 3.0 and pass either the College Placement Test through SCF or the ACT/SAT. We offer dual enrollment classes in Math, Science, Social Studies, and English on our campus. Typically, students take dual enrollment classes on the SCF campus their senior year. Our close proximity to the main SCF campus makes this program convenient for students. For more information, see your guidance counselor
