There's good news for all students taking the FCAT: you can get free
reading, math, and science practice on the FCAT Explorer. That's right: free
practice for the FCAT atwww.fcatexplorer.com
http://focus.florida-achieves.
The
FCAT Explorer is an online practice program made for Florida's public school
students by the Florida Department of Education. It features three practice
programs created for high school students: Reading
Timeline, Math Timeline,
and Science Mission.
These programs offer practice for the skills tested on the FCAT and feature
lots of stuff to help you get the most out of your study time. You'll
receive helpful feedback to the answers you choose and a second chance to
answer questions to apply what you've learned. FCAT Explorer also features
helpful online tools like calculators, formula reference sheets, and
glossaries that define and pronounce important terms.
Best of all, FCAT Explorer is online, which means you can use it on any
computer connected to the Internet: at school, at the library, even at home.
Whether you're retaking the FCAT or taking it for the first time, your
performance on the test will benefit from the extra time you spend studying
reading, math, and science on FCAT Explorer. To get your free FCAT Explorer
sign-in name and password, talk to your teacher, or visit the website at www.fcatexplorer.com or http://focus.florida-
