Congratulations to our Wizard of Design Bill Ferrell on earning his
National Industry Certification in Photoshop from the Adobe corporation.
This is an outstanding achievement typical of the brilliant design
work he has done for the past six years here at the River.

Attention Runners:
Anyone interested in participating in the 2011 Track season there is a meeting January 18th
at 2:30 in room 607.  Students can pick up necessary paperwork needed before the first day of
practice which is January 31st at 3:00pm.

DUAL ENROLLMENT:

REMINDER - any student wishing to take the CPT for the Spring term must first apply
to SCF and have their "G" number available BEFORE they can call the testing center to
make an appointment. Contact the SCF Testing Center directly at: Bradenton - 752-5238
and Venice - 941-408-1540. Dual enrollment testing appointments are made on select
Saturdays - click here for more information.

Attention Seniors! 

If you are interested in applying for the 2011 Golden Herald Awards,
please see Ms. Dutting in Room 708.  Winners will receive a $1500
cash scholarship and a chance to win a 2011 Ford Fiesta.

Parent's Night Out

The Lakewood Ranch High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
will be holding a babysitting night so that you can enjoy a date night while your children
engage in fun activities with our responsible student babysitters!

There will a financial aid seminar at Palmetto High School
on Tuesday January 25th at 6:30 PM.

Girls and boys tennis tryouts will
start on Jan 18, 2011-Jan 20, 2011. 

Jan. 18 Boys tryouts will begin at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Jan. 18 Girls tryouts will begin at 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Jan. 19 Boys tryouts will begin at 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Early Release days)

Jan. 19 Girls tryouts will begin at 3:00 pm. - 4:00 pm (Early Release days)

Jan. 20 Boys and Girls tryouts will begin at 3:00 pm. - 4:15 pm.

The appropriate paperwork must be turned in order to tryout for tennis.
