Pirate Battalion Drill Team
The Drill team placed 2nd Overall at the
University of Tampa Drill Meet
on Saturday, February 5^th.

The Team also earned the following awards:

Cadet Dunwoody placed in the Top 10 of the Unarmed Knockout.

BRHS Cheer Tryouts for 2011-2012 
will be April 4th to the 7th.  
Tryout information night is March 22nd at 6:00 pm 
in the Media Center.  Tryout packet due March 31st.

TABE Test This Friday
MTI will be on campus administering the TABE Test on Friday, March 18th.
Any student who plans to attend MTI in the near future must take the TABE Test.
This will be the last time we offer this test on campus for the 2010-2011 school
year. Please sign up in the Career and Academic Center, Room 611 no later
than Thursday, March 17th. If you have any questions, please contact:
Mrs. Gionfriddo or Ms. Kennedy.

Black Pearls
The Black Pearls Competition team attended an MA Regional Dance Competition March 5th.
We danced away with many awards. We received a sweepstakes award for two of our three
routines (Jazz and modern) given above a 90 out of 100. We also received a choreography
award (best choreography for our jazz routine) and Highest points in the modern/lyrical
category for our modern routine. The girls performed fabulously!

FYI: Dance auditions for the 2011-2012 year will be April 18-20.

Buckle Up - It's the Law

We'll be having a special campaign on campus this month
to remind everyone to always wear their seat belts.
If you would like to not have an expensive reminder from those folks
with the blue lights on their cars you might want to read this.

Attention all those interested in running for the
2011-2012 Mr. And Miss Braden River High School:

There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, March 30th at 2:30
in the Media Center regarding the rules and regulations of being a part
of this pageant event. The pageant is scheduled for Thursday April 21st
at 7:00 pm. Applications will be handed out at this meeting so please
make sure you attend. We are looking for all grades to participate as
we will crown a representative from each class to be the royal court
of Mr. and Miss BRHS.
