Spanish Club member Ann Bellevue models bracelets sold for charity.

The BRHS Spanish Club is starting an annual tradition of selling bracelets (aka 'PULSERAS' in Spanish),
in order to raise money for the youth in Nicaragua. The Pulsera Project is a 100% non-profit charity that
puts its money towards food, shelter, water, education and further scholarships for youth that live in the
Los Quinchos orphanage, who would otherwise be living on the streets in the poverty-stricken country.
All of our money made goes directly to the project. We will sell the pulseras from
March 5 through April 6, 2012.

The Prince Charming & Cinderella Project provides FREE prom attire:
dresses, accessories, shoes, and tuxedo rentals to students who qualify.
Girls must pre-register and attend the Fitting Event to select their dress on
Wednesday, March 28th, 3-6 pm at the Professional Support Center (PSC).
The PSC is located at 2501 63rd Ave East in Bradenton. We currently have
over 300 beautiful dresses waiting for a new home! Boys must submit their
application to receive information on receiving a basic tuxedo rental at least
two weeks prior to their prom. Cosmetology Service are also offered to
qualified students at no charge by Manatee Technical Institute and GUTI.
Gift certificates to have prom dresses cleaned are provided by Courtesy
Cleaners. There will be a drawing for Outback Steakhouse gift
certificates at the Fitting Event as well. Please see Mr. French
