Courtney Mirabella and Ashley Allard

Congratulations to sophomores Courtney Mirabella and Ashley Allard for their outstanding performance
during the Lady Pirate softball season so far. Both made many contributions to the success of the team
and were nominated for athlete of the week by the Bradenton Herald and ABC 7 news. On the mound
Courtney has 150 strikeouts with only 4 earned runs against her with 79 innings pitched. Ashley is not
only a stellar defensive player behind the plate but one of the premiere offensive players with
36 at bats, 20 hits, 8 runs batted in and numerous sacrifice bunts.

We look forward to watching them and the teams continued success throughout the season.

Football 2011

All players and parents interested in participating in football for the 2011 season
are asked to attend a meeting on Wednesday, April 13th at 6:00 pm in the Media
Center. A separate meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at 6:00 pm in
the Media Center for all incoming freshmen, and their parents, interested in
playing football in 2011.

Miss and Mr. BRHS 2011-2012

Attention all those interested in running for the
2011-2012 Mr. And Miss Braden River High School:

There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, March 30th at 2:30
in the Media Center regarding the rules and regulations of being a part
of this pageant event. The pageant is scheduled for Thursday April 21st
at 7:00 pm. Applications will be handed out at this meeting so please
make sure you attend. We are looking for all grades to participate as
we will crown a representative from each class to be the royal court
of Mr. and Miss BRHS.
