Braden River High School JROTC hosted the 16th Annual Manatee County Military Ball on Thursday, March 25th at the Bradenton Auditorium. The event was attended by approximately 585 cadets, guests, and volunteers. Military Ball Chairperson Cadet Amanda Brooks and her Ball committee members who included Samantha Cramer, Laci Richardson, Kim Decker, Kari Bowman, Tommy Kopec, Leanna Jenson, Kasey Cowart, Jenn Saba, & Allena Dubois worked hard to make the event memorable. We would like to thank the following BRHS Parent Volunteers for helping to decorate and make the event run smoothly. We could not have done it without them!! Congratulations to our fine
Pirates for an
Braden River High Technology Student Association (TSA) and our Engineering Design and Leadership Academy rocked the State Competition this past week, bringing home a record number of 21 Trophies. We finished in Second Place for the Over All Outstanding Chapter in Florida. There is still one competition that hasn’t been scored as of yet, so we might have move good news to come. This is also a Record Breaking Year for Florida TSA the Top Three Teams in the state all came out of Manatee County. One, Two, Three, Manatee Sweep! Pirates Won 10 First Place Trophies, 6 Second Places and 5 Third Place Trophies. Once again what a outstanding performance by our TSA Pirate Team. Our Pirates set the record for Qualifying 20 students for the National Competition to be held in Baltimore Maryland. Please congratulate these students for representing Braden River High School so well at the State Level.
