Spyglass Editorial Staff for Next Year

The Spyglass newspaper announces its new editorial staff for 2010/11.
Editors- in- Chief - Christie Childers & Alexia Fernandez.
Assistant Editor-in-Chief - Claire Patterson.
Editors: Nicolle Zampella & Nicole Feldman.
Assistant Editors: Alena Wychor, Taylor Fisk, Hannah Pepka, Cheyenne Hill,
Lisa Hornick, Jordan Sanders, Abby Sugden & Lainee Jennings.

Alycia Bower won the Community Quarterback award from the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers Tues. night at ONE BUC PLACE presented by Doug Williams
former Tampa Bay quarterback/player personnel director.

Alycia was also presented with a $2,500.00 scholarship on Monday
from Hands on Manatee in recognition of her community service.

New - Manatee County American Red Cross has several summer opportunities for community service that might
interest our Pirate students.  In particular we have a week long Disaster Camp. We also offer opportunities for
teens to become certified Red Cross instructors and to teach first aid and disaster preparedness to
elementary aged students.    For more information students should contact Manatee County
