Pirate of the Day

Bridget Lanier - Pirate Track Star

Congratulations to Bridget Lanier for her outstanding achievement in the district track meet. 
On April 21st Bridget went 4 for 4 in her events.  She won the long jump with a jump of 
17 feet 3 inches, she won the pole vault clearing 10 feet, she won the high jump clearing 
5 feet 2 inches, and the she won the 300 meter hurdles with a blazing time of 50.25 seconds.  
She set school records in 3 out of the four events (long jump, high jump and 300 hurdles). 
This is the single greatest performance Braden River High Track and Field has ever seen.

TRACK will be held June 5th in Palmetto.
There will be a special session of the Teaching Road Awareness and Consequences to Kids 
workshop held at the Andersen Race Park in Palmetto June 5th - 9:30 am till 4:00 pm. 
This FREE training session is presented by the Safe Teen Driver organization.

Parents: Progress reports will be given to students on May 12th, 2011.

The underclass awards and senior awards will be held:
Underclass Awards--Monday, May 16 at 9:00 a.m.
Senior Awards--Monday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Both will be in the auditorium.

All children under the age of 18 can receive free breakfast and lunch this summer.
