I am very excited about this amazing opportunity and I cannot wait to begin
the summer workouts! Over the course of the summer we are going to be
working hard to develop the physical strength, mental strength, and discipline
needed to have a successful football season in the fall. I would like to invite
you all out to come watch some of the summer workouts. If you are interested
in playing football, please see the flyers and schedule, we would love to have
you out there. Thank you all for your warm welcome and future support. This
program will make you all proud! Please join us for our Meet the Coaches
Parent Night on Thursday, June 7^th. This will take place in the Braden River
High School Cafeteria. For incoming Freshman families it will begin at
5:30 pm, for 10th to 12th grade families it will begin at 6:00 pm.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Summer Class Assignments

Our teachers have started to post the class assignments
for the summer. Click here for the current list of work
you can get started on this summer.

Driver's Education Class

Just a reminder to those students that have been enrolled in the Summer Drivers
Ed program. The mandatory dates are June 12th & 13th in the Braden River
Auditorium from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. This is only for the students that have been
told by Mrs. Zeris that they got into the class. The next class for students that did
not make it into the summer class will be sometime in September. The application
will be posted to our website. Please check back towards the end of August or the
beginning of September.

New Parent Resources are now
available from the Florida DOE

FCAT Call Center
Beginning Monday, May 21, DOE experts will be available to answer
parent questions from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Parents may call 866-507-1109 to ask questions about FCAT, recent
changes to Florida’s accountability system, and how this impacts
students and teachers.

about Florida’s transition to tougher standards and higher expectations.
The website features a letter from Commissioner Robinson, timelines
about Florida’s education system, a question and answer page, and

DOE Parent Portal by Novachi: http://parents.fldoe.org/home
In partnership with Novachi, the department is launching the DOE
Parent Portal. This public forum is designed for parents to ask
questions and voice ideas at the state level. The portal features
a parent blog, discussion board, and announcements page with
more education resources coming soon. Parents may logon for
access to this free user-friendly site.

This e-mail address is especially for Florida’s parents to get answers,
voice opinions and share ideas with the department. Send an e-mail

MEDICATION PICK UP

Parents: If your child has medication in the clinic, It will 
be necessary for you to pick up their medication on or 
before  12:00 noon on Thursday June 7th,  2012.   
Any medication not picked up will be destroyed.

The BRHS Summer 2012 Basketball Camp
