A salute to our 1st Pirate - Jim Pauley

We take this time to pay tribute to our very first Pirate - Jim Pauley.
Back in the day in the winter of 2005 the good captain was making
big plans for what was to become one of the most unique and
innovative schools in the state. He worked hard to bring together
a talented and gifted crewe that he entrusted the first class of
650 students to. We have now grown to 2,000 students but
there is one thing that has never changed - Jim Pauley's
dedication and devotion to the young men and women
he has been given the responsibility of taking care of.
It was 15 years ago that Mr. Pauley and his wife
were in charge of a Sunday School class for
two year olds. Today, many years later, he
still stands and looks over his charges.

We wish you well in your new position Mr. Pauley
but you better make room for a whole lot more kids.

Curt Bradley - Head Football Coach

I am very excited about this amazing opportunity and I cannot wait to begin
the summer workouts! Over the course of the summer we are going to be
working hard to develop the physical strength, mental strength, and discipline
needed to have a successful football season in the fall. I would like to invite
you all out to come watch some of the summer workouts. If you are interested
in playing football,  please see the flyers and schedule, we would love to have
you out there. Thank you all for your warm welcome and future support. This
program will make you all proud! Please join us for our Meet the Coaches
Parent Night on Thursday, June 7th. This will take place in the Braden River
High School Cafeteria. For incoming Freshman families it will begin at
5:30 pm, for 10th to 12th grade families it will begin at 6:00 pm.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

MEDICATION PICK UP
 
Parents: If your child has medication in the clinic, It will 
be necessary for you to pick up their medication on or 
before  12:00 noon on Thursday June 7th,  2012.   
Any medication not picked up will be destroyed.

Girls Cross Country summer workouts will begin June 12. If you are planning
to be on the Braden River's competitive girls team please contact
Coach Toole-Plummer at abbytoole@msn.com any time
throughout the summer.

Driver's Education Class

Just a reminder to those students that have been enrolled in the Summer Drivers
Education program. The mandatory dates are June 12th & 13th in the Braden River
Auditorium from 7:30 am - 1:00 pm. This is only for the students that have been
told by Mrs. Zeris that they got into the class. The next class for students that did
not make it into the summer class will be sometime in September. The application
will be posted to our website. Please check back towards the end of August
or the beginning of September.

A representative from Herff Jones was on campus Monday to pick up
any undelivered/unused cap and gown orders. Parents who require a
refund for an unused cap and gown should contact Herff Jones in writing
(not via phone message or email) at:

The letter should include the student’s name, Braden River High School,
and the address to which the refund should be mailed.

Parents who wish to purchase photos taken at the Graduation
ceremony should contact A Plus Pro Photo at 941-782-1567
for complete ordering details.

A DVD of the Graduation ceremony is available
from the School District. Click here to order one.

Any 11th grader who still needs to sign up for senior pictures 
must contact A Plus Pro Photo and schedule an appointment.
