9th grade Orientation is scheduled for August 14th at 6:00 pm.  
Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided from 6:00-6:30 and then an informational program will follow.

All students will be required to carry their ID card on them at all times this year. 
New students and 9th grade students will be given official Braden River ID'S within the first two weeks of school. 
The BRHS cafeteria is also asking that students use their ID's at all times to help 
in assuring that all of our students have enough time to eat.

Senior picture appointments for the summer are closed.  If you are part of the class of 2009 and did not sign up
for your senior picture you will need to sign up September 8-12, 2008.  Senior pictures will be taken again
 the week of September 22.  September will be your last opportunity to be photographed.

2008 - 2009 School Year Sports Orientation  August 7, 2008 - 6:30 PM
All Freshmen MUST meet in Auditorium.  All Returning Athletes MUST meet in Cafeteria.  
Please be sure to meet in the correct location to make the Orientation run smoothly. 

Please be sure to bring money or your checkbook as you will be required to purchase the insurance
 and you will also have the opportunity to purchase Pirate Apparel at the Orientation as well as join 
the Athletic Booster Club to help raise funds for the Athletic Department and your athlete.

All Athletes are required to have a Sports Physical prior to trying out for their sport. 
Physicals for BRHS FALL ATHLETES ONLY will be offered on 
August 9th at Manatee High School at 12:00 noon.
 
If you can't make it on August 9th and do not want to deal with the crowds, 
some local WALK-IN CLINICS are offering Sports Physicals for $20.00. 
Please call your closest WALK-IN CLINIC to verify that they are offering 
the $20.00 Sport Physical prior to stopping by.
