Mr. Robert Gosling

Mr. Gosling brings 37 years of teaching experience to Braden River High School. He started out at Bradenton
Middle School many years ago and spent the last 25 years at Manatee High where he taught various
subjects in the Social Studies department. He also served as the coordinator for the gifted program.

"I have visited all 50 states of our great country and have traveled extensively around the world.
I am eagerly looking forward to putting the experience from those global adventures to good use in
teaching World History and World History honors classes here at BRHS.

My passion for teaching burns strongly as I share a lifetime of learning and experience
with my students. It's going to be a fabulous year as a member of the Pirate crewe."

Register your car or get the Hook
We are open for business to register your car for the new school year.
8:00 - 2:30 in Classroom 822. Registration information for student parking 
on campus can be found here and at the bottom of the school webpage.

Seniors - seniors who haven't yet signed up to get their pictures done in August:
August 18-20 senior portrait dates, bring $20 sitting fee, girls wear tank or tube top 
or straps which will pull off shoulder, clean t-shirt for boys, bring extra outfit, shoot 
location at school.  Call "A Plus Pro Photo" to schedule at (941)782-1567.

Students - Summer Assignments have been posted for most of your new classes.
The work will be due on the first day of school in August.

Code of Student Conduct for 2010-2011
The code of Student Conduct has just been published. Click here for 
your copy of the official School Board of Manatee County policy.

Dress Code Update
The dress code for all students is basically the same as last year with the main change relating 
to tank tops with dresses falling under the interpretation.  Please read the entire dress code to 
ensure your son or daughter is in compliance.   If you have any questions, please contact the 
school for clarifications before wearing or purchasing any apparel.

"d. Tank tops are allowed only with an over shirt or an undershirt with sleeves. Blouses
and tops must cover the entire front and back, and be long enough to tuck inside the
waistband. All undergarments must be covered. No sheer (see-through) shirts are to
be worn unless tank tops with at least two inch straps are worn underneath. This also
 includes the top of dresses, which simply means no sun-type dresses with straps may 
be worn unless an undershirt is worn."
