Drivers Ed  - The date has been changed to the 6th of September.  Applications being accepted 
at this time for the second semester which begins in January.  See Sharon Zeris in Student Services.

All students will be required to carry their ID card on them at all times this year. 
New students and 9th grade students will be given official Braden River ID'S within the first two weeks of school. 
The BRHS cafeteria is also asking that students use their ID's at all times to help 
in assuring that all of our students have enough time to eat.

Senior picture appointments for the summer are closed.
If you are part of the class of 2009 and did not sign up
for your senior picture you will need to sign up September 8-12, 2008.
Senior pictures will be taken again the week of September 22nd.
September will be your last opportunity to be photographed.

Free PSAT test - Click here for a flyer about a Free Practice PSAT on Saturday, September 13th.
Students are encouraged to participate in this practice test especially since they are also invited
to pick up their scores and hear advice on how to improve their scores and gain admission to select colleges.
They will need to call the 1-800 number or go online to register.

Reminder: We will be administering the real PSAT on Saturday, October 18th here at BRHS.
About two weeks before the test date, we will announce that students can register before or after school in
Student Services or during lunch. The cost is yet to be determined.
Only juniors can qualify for the National Merit Scholarships, but freshmen and
sophomores are welcome to register for the test if they would like the practice.

Bullying Surveys - Electronic student and staff surveys regarding bullying are available on the 
Safe and Drug-Free Schools website at www.manatee.k12.fl.us/safe.  
This survey must be taken no later than September 30.
