Gary Reinstrom - Pipe Major

Special thanks to Gary Reinstrom for being our piper for the 9/9/11 memorial program
that we are having this Friday. Mr. Reinstrom is an accomplished player who has performed
in a wide variety of places in South Florida. He will join us Friday to play "Amazing Grace",
a beautiful old piece of music that is performed for all NYPD funeral services.

There is no other instrument that sounds like a bagpipe being played
by a highly skilled musician so I know that we are in for a treat Friday.

Mr. Reinstrom is the Pipe Major of the Jacobites Pipe and Drum Band
and has been playing the bagpipes since he was just 13 years old.

If you have questions about college one of the best ways to get
answers is from the people that will be here from that college.

If you are a Junior or Senior and would like to attend one or more of these
information sessions, please sign up with Mrs. Gionfriddo in Room 118B
(Attendance Area) no later than the day before the visit.

Senior Pictures

Any senior who has not had a Senior Picture taken must see Miss Reid in Room 739 before
or after school Sept. 19th through the 23rd. Any senior who has not signed up for a Senior
Picture by Friday, September 23rd will not have a picture in the Senior Section of this
year's yearbook. The sitting fee is $20.00, cash only, and must be paid at the time
the appointment is made. There are no other Senior Pictures
scheduled for this year. This is your last chance.

SAT Prep Class

There is a class coming up that will help you to prepare for the SAT examination.
It will be held at Cardinal Mooney High in Sarasota and costs $75.00.

Yearbooks will be on sale
Yearbooks will be on sale at Back-To-School Night, September 14th, and before school and during lunch
on the 15th and 16th for $60.00. This is the only time yearbooks will be available for this price. You can
also order online at www.yearbookordercenter.com (a $3.50 service fee is added for online orders).
Use order #1636 and enter the student's English teacher as the Homeroom teacher.
Get an order form from your English teacher.


Student parking passes are on sale in Classroom 822.   
The paperwork needed is posted on the BRHS website under the 
Student Parking tab. Paragraph 1 of the document tells the 
student what they need to bring to register their vehicle.   
Cost remains $30.00 for school year 2011-2012.

Parking passes are required to avoid getting a ticket.
Get your pass today before you have to pay a fine.
