BRHS SGA Angel tree for the Salvation Army
November 2nd – December 8th

It will be located in the cafeteria. Everyone is encouraged to assist in this very special cause.

The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program provides new clothing and/or toys for children.
A sponsoring company or corporation places a Christmas tree in a secure, high-pedestrian
traffic area or lobby. The tree is decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the
 first name, age and gender of a child who will receive the gift. Contributors remove one or more
 tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.
The toys are then delivered to the unit and later picked up by the parent
to distribute to the child/children on Christmas Day.

On Saturday Night, the Marching Band of Pirates made history. They earned the first FBA Superior Rating
for Marching Band, in the history of the school. The Band received Superior Ratings in all six categories
and earned straight A's, the highest rating possible, on every judge sheet.

We are extremely proud of our kids and their work ethic. Go Pirates !!!

Underclassmen picture retakes will be November 5th. Students can sign up for
an appointment before or after school in room 739 on November 2nd and 3rd.

Florida Offender Alert System
With the school year underway and Halloween approaching, now is a great time to remind parents to sign up for the Florida Offender Alert System at www.flsexoffender.net. This valuable and free service allows citizens to track Florida's registered sexual offenders and predators. Citizens can subscribe to receive free alerts when a sexual offender or predator moves into their neighborhood, or within a radius of any other location the subscriber chooses. The system also enables subscribers to monitor specific offenders or predators and be notified when that individual changes their address.
