Key Club Sandblast Team

Congratulations to the BRHS Key Club Sandblast Team. They won 2nd Place in the Free Form division
at the 7th Annual Sandblast for Keep Manatee Beautiful. The sculpture is title Mount Toy Story and
features many characters from Toy Story. The winning team members are Megan Melzer, Chanel
Compton, Cheyene Compton, Katelyn Disbro, Krystal Martinez, Michaela Behrdnt, Jazlin Gomez,
Carolyn Howard, Jordan Paxton, Talyor Allen, Skylar Veltri, and Alyssa Disbro.

SCF will have representatives on
our campus on December 1st.

November 28 through December 9 – an online Holiday Book Fair is coming to the Pirate Media Center at booksrockcafe.com!
Students will go to the media center with their English class for about 30 minutes to find out about it and to begin shopping.
They will create an account and put things in their cart, just like at Amazon, paying with a check, cash, or credit card.
Anyone, including family and friends, can go on the website to shop from any computer, 24 / 7. There will be a charge of
$1.00 to ship student orders to the school and a minimum of $3.95 to ship anywhere else. Student purchases will arrive
at the school 2 -3 days after the fair. All outside purchases will be shipped to the home address. We’ll have book
selections for all ages so please consider shopping for the holidays and our media center will receive a percentage of the profits.

Town Hall at Manatee High School on
Thursday December 1, 2011 at 7:00 pm.

This "Town Hall" will be a panel discussion on parent options for educating their children.
Titled "Working Together in 2012 To Inspire Our Future Generations" we will be discussing
Traditional / Charter and Virtual models of education." below are the particulars to date
