Lakewood Ranch High School is a neighborhood school. Together with Manatee Community College and the Manatee County Parks and Recreation Department, our school site is used every day. This is what a school should do, serve the community. The more involvement with our school, the better we become and the more we can offer to the community. A strong component for the success of our school is our parents. The more involved they are in their child's life, the more successful the child will become. Many studies have shown a strong correlation between parental involvement and student success. We encourage parental involvement in all areas of the school . I hope that if there is a concern, suggestion, or if a parent wants to volunteer or visit the school, they will call us. We can't work alone. It takes a community to raise each child so that they will be the kind of adults we expect. Lakewood Ranch High School has high goals and expectations for all students. Meeting those goals and expectations is everyone's responsibility. Working together, our community school will prepare our young adults to be tomorrows leaders and success stories.
