I, as a student of Palmetto High School with pride and respect for myself and my school, do hereby pledge to strive to the best of my ability:
To preserve the beauty and tradition of my school by refraining from all acts which would deract from its present appearance.
To avoid displaying my affection at times when my actions would be liable for criticism.
To demonstrate my school spirit and elevate my school's standing by displaying conduct favorable to our reputation at all time.
To refrain from smoking at all times while I am on the school campus.
To uphold my own respect and integrity by refusing to cheat.
To show proper respect for all my teachers and those in authority even when personal conflicts are involved; and by doing so,
I will properly reflect the character, personality, and attitude of my school.
