There will be four sport seasons. Each season will coincide with a grading quarter. For each sport there will be a boys' and girls' team. Basketball,Cross Country, Volleyball, Soccer

All sports will follow the rules and regulations of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). All students enrolled in the school are eligible if they meet the following criteria:
• Have a current physical examination on file with the school
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA
• Receive no more than one 3 in citizenship on previous quarter's report card
• Be 15.9 years of age or younger

Johnson Middle School is proud to offer boy and girl’s Lacrosse teams.  We are the only public middle school in Manatee County that does so.  The teams play competitively on the club level, traveling from Tampa to Port Charlotte to take on their opponents.  For more information contact Mr. Rizzo the Athletic Director.
