Language Arts Department
The Language Arts Department at Sugg Middle School seeks to help students develop an appreciation for literature and enhance their ability to speak and write effectively. Language Arts students follow the Manatee Core Curriculum, which encompasses all components of the communication process: reading, writing, speaking and listening. The fundamental goal is to develop effective communication skills that will serve as tools for acquiring and applying other skills and knowledge. |
